David Moyes charge £30,000 for "slap" comment

                      Former Sunderland manager David Moyes has been fined £30,000 for his “slap” comment towards a journalist in March, the Football Association has announced.
Moyes was charged by the FA following a conversation which took place between the Scot and BBC reporter Vicki Sparks at the end of a post-match interview.
                      Moyes was unhappy with one of Sparks’ questions and said to her: “You were just getting a wee bit naughty at the end there, so just watch yourself. You still might get a slap even though you’re a woman. Careful the next time you come in.”
                     The former Manchester United boss later apologised, saying: “In the heat of the moment, I made a mistake in my comments to a BBC reporter, which I profoundly regret. I was disappointed with myself for it.

“I subsequently phoned the reporter and apologised, which she accepted. It’s not my character, it’s not my type, as most people know and once again I apologise for it.”
The club described Moyes’ conduct as “wholly unacceptable” but stood by him as he attempted – in vain – to preserve Sunderland’s Premier League status.
Moyes denied the charge but the FA’s independent regulatory commission upheld it.
An FA statement read: “David Moyes has been fined £30,000 in relation to comments he made after the Sunderland versus Burnley game on March 18, 2017.
“It was alleged his remarks were improper and/or threatening and/or brought the game into disrepute, contrary to FA rule E3(1). He denied the charge, however it was found proven following an independent regulatory commission hearing.”
Moyes resigned from his role at the Stadium of Light on May 22 following Sunderland’s relegation.

Even though Kim and Kanye seemed to be fine from the outside, inside sources had a different view of the relationship. Apparently, the two have been drifting apart for some time now, potentially due to the stresses of having a relationship that’s constantly in the public eye. One inside source told Life & Style, “They’re on different paths and don’t connect anymore.”
   

It seems like Kim and Kanye both have different priorities in their lives right now. Kanye is in Wyoming working on new music after the hospitalization from his breakdown, which has left Kim to raise North and Saint. Another insider said, “He doesn’t want to put himself in a situation where he’s taking on too much.”

Lanre Gentry shows off new lover

Seven days after he was freed from Kirikiri prison and returned home following the perfection of his bail conditions after his arrest over battery allegations leveled against him by his wife, Mercy Aigbe, Lanre Gentry is at it again.

This time however, the hotelier has not returned to battering his wife but has gone ahead to show off his new lover on Instagram, posting a photo of him and his new love Temi on the social media platform.

On the picture post, Lanre who has only been separated from his wife for barely two weeks posed with his alleged lover and wrote thus; ‘Temi my new love’.

About two weeks ago, Lanre appeared before Magistrate Mrs O Aje-Afunwa Ogba of the Ikeja Magistrate court over charges of assault and domestic violence leveled against him by his wife.

He was granted bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in the like sum which he perfected last week.

However, he could face up to three years in prison if found guilty of the charges leveled against him.
   

Lanre Gentry mock enstranged wife

Lagos hotelier Lanre Gentry seems to be hell bent on taking advantage of every opportunity to mock his estranged wife Mercy Aigbe for daring to take him to court over allegations of battery.

Less than a week after his release from prison, Lanre went ahead to show off his new lover on Instagram, posting a photo of him and his new love Temi on the social media platform.

On the picture post, Lanre who had only been separated from his wife for barely two weeks at the time, posed with his alleged lover and wrote thus; ‘Temi my new love’.

This time, Lanre is making mockery of his wife’s visit to the the United Kingdom for more treatment and medical check-up.

Moments after her check-up in the UK, Mercy posted thus on Instagram; “In the UK to see an Oral and Maxilloficial Surgeon,” she wrote. “No woman should go through these much pain, anguish and trauma all in the name of marriage.”

Moments after her post on Instagram, Lanre took to his page and wrote thus; “I don’t regret my past. I just regret the time I’ve wasted with the wrong people.”

Lanre who is standing trial, could face up to three years in prison if found guilty of the charges leveled against him.

Former American boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. who currently works as a boxing promoter will be in Nigeria in the month of June on the invitation of ‘African Queen’ crooner, 2face Idiabia.

The invitation was confirmed on the official Instagram handle of 2face’s night Club Rumours, when it posted thus; “Floyd Mayweather, @floydmayweather TMT lifestyle world president, will visit Nigeria June 12|13|14 Exclusive to @clubrumorsvi and Zinni Media Group..
          In his reply to the invitation on Instagram page of Club Rumours, Mayweather Jnr said; ““Friend what’sup,“It’s the one and only Floyd Mayweather. Nigeria June 12,13 and 14, the motherland prince, ill see you guys soon.”

The confirmation by Mayweather Jnr reveals that the boxer who competed as a professional boxer from 1996 to 2015 before he retired after a fight with Manny Pacquiao may have agreed terms with 2face.
